Frollics and Frills

Hello everybody. My, oh my oh my hasnt it been a while since ive blogged. My deep and dear apologises to all.

So i hear you ask, where i have been? Well to be honest i have been nowhere and not done a lot. Well no, ive been doing all sorts of things. So lets start strart from the beginning shall we.

First up. I've cut my hair off! Yes, i know! Can you believe it! My luscious locks are no more! But im quite pleased with the outcome. =]

I dont cut my hair that often but when i do, i usually get rid of a lot of it! (It was nearly down by my bum)


So what else have been up too. Oh yes! I was in a play called Fawlty Towers! (I'd be surprised if no one has heard of it) I played the part of Polly Sherman. It was incredible, the audience and the atmosphere was electric and the exciting thing is that it was so good that we are doing another 3 episodes next year!

Whilst during the first show of Fawly towers i did this!

Me and a cast member were messing about and i managed to slice my finger on a sharp bit on a door nob! I screamed and as you can imagine there was so much blood but thankfully we had a doctor on hand and she stiched me up and i was ready to perform to my audience! What a trooper eh? ;]


I also took a trip to Quaywest the other week! I had a copious amount of fun! However, i dont think i'll be going any back soon! The stairs were pretty tiring and i came out achey and sore and VERY sunburnt!

 AND tomorrow me and my friend will be joining a running club! How EXCITING! No, honestly, i really am excited which is strange as its excercise and im like so unhealthy! I bought myself some running shorts today, so there's definelty no backing out now =] I'll let you all know how that goes in my next blog.

To go or not to go cold turkey?

Hello blogger, we meet again! I havent blogged in a while! How mean of me! I never really know what to blog about these days! Im never upto anything that interesting apart from work and rehearsals or drinking! I have been drinking quite a lot recently! Yeah, yeah! Ive already been moaned at by various people about the amounts i consume! Honestly, i dont drink that much do i? Okay, on an average night, i'll have a few shots, a couple of baileys and some wine! However, last night i did exceed my usual amount! Basically Absythne is a cold hearted bitch who has no mercy on anyone! I may have had 3/4 shots of that stuff..aswell as my usual beverages! Bad i know!
Ive had a mad week, so next week im gonna take it easy! Im considering on going cold turkey for a while, aha! So no fags or booze! Impossible challenge i hear all the pessimists say! Nope, next week im not gonna touch any intoxicating substances! Actually, One glass of baileys is my limit! It needs to be done, otherwise i'll live up to label as the 'alcoholic'...Hahahahaha! Im not ready to go to AA meetings just yet!
Moving on from there, Recently ive been looking for a new job! As my current job is well, Its fucking depressing! Not gonna lie! Some days its alright but most of the time i cant stand it! So ive been looking around and theres nothing that catches my eye! Unless i wanna become a social companion! HAHAHAHAHA! No thank you! So i guess i just have to continue my search! Im sure something will come along soon enough!

Shopping

So today was meant to be my day off, so earlier on today i took a trip into Torquay and decided to spoil myself =]

Its my birthday coming up and i need some nice new things, recently i will admit to buying loads of dresses, but thats just a girl thing right? =p Though mother is slightly pissed by how much i spend on them...Face bothered??? no!

Now time for some pictures =]

I bought this dress from new look =] Which i didnt pay for as i had some new look giftcards from christmas =] My only worry is that its white and may get very dirty..i shall be careful =]

I also bought this trench coat from H&M, was a tad pricey but it fits so well and i just couldnt resist it!

I also bought a denim shirt, not this one though, i got a slighty more faded coloured denim, which looks a look nicer..and once again i got it from H&M =]

As summer is approaching i got myself a pair of black denim shorts too, only £5 from primark! They were my bargain of the day! I hardly shop in Primark anymore, its good for the occassional cheap bargain but the quality is never quite up to standard, maybe i sound stuck up...but its true!

After my shopping spree, i headed on home expecting to just chill and play some TF2 or portal but no, work phones and calls me in to cover a few hours! It wasnt all bad i guess, had a few laughs! But no day off till sunday now! GUTTED! Nevermind, i prefer to keep busy =]

Im no good at giving posts titles!

Hello people!

I have nothing to talk about whatsoever! Not much has happened since i last blogged! Well. I went to an audition today, which went quite well and i have another on tuesday too! Im really hoping i get a part, mainly because it keeps me busy which is good for me, otherwise, say hello to depressive kylie! Im most likely to be at least an extra but i'd rather get a proper part, which may sound a bit obnoxious but well whats the point being an extra! I quite like being in shows and acting/taking on another character, maybe because i can hide behind a character which isnt myself! I'm not a very interesting individual! Aha! Though i feel quietly confident that i will get the part i want (Me being big headed) but then again i may not, and ive learnt in life that i should never get my hopes up..helps with disappointment! (This is now taking a depressing turn)



Now, i shall move on to something chirpier! For the past couple of days i have been playing Portal, Its a great game and i recommend that everyone should play it! Ive nearly completed the first round of tests but i am stuck on chamber 18, it is soo difficult! Basically, Portal is game about logic and its a first person player game! Throughout the game, you are equipped with a portal gun which allows you to make portal holes, sometimes this can be tricky especially when you are surrounded by toxic waste! At first i found the long jumps furiating but ive got the hang of it now, you need momentium and velocity..and patience! Throughout the game you get guided by GLADOS, she's a robot voice thing who bribes you with cake but everyone knows that the cake is a lie! My favourite test was the one with the turrets, i strangely found them cute, even though they killed me several times! =]

Hopefully i will have completed portal by the time i blog again =]

Bloggy blog blog!

Shall write a blog about my current activities, Today i havent really been up too much! Firstly, its my day off and PAYDAY! So two reasons to be happy! =] Earlier on this morning, i took a venture to Paignton, popped into the bank and took care of some stuff! And of course i had a little look round the shops, though nothing caught my eye! Though i didnt come home empty handed, My friend owns a DVD shop so i bought a few such as, Underworld, underworld revolution, St trinians and The skeleton key! =] All for £10, not too shabby!

Also, I have spent this afternoon watching the first season of Fawlty Towers, shall continue with the second season later on i expect =] You may ask why i am watching it, well i thought i would do some research on it as i may be involved in a comedy play of Fawlty towers! Yay!

Later on this evening, I'll be going to a meeting/house gathering to discuss Fawlty towers and most likely will end up in everyone being drunk! =]

As most of you all know, i was in a show last week! So to show off my talent, i shall post a few photos, most of which are on facebook, but hey ho!

Overall the shows were faboulous! My mum and nan came to watch on the thursday night (which was our worst night) but still they loved it!

Tomorrow, i plan to go to a BOADS meeting thing to discuss another show, Fawlty Towers! Auditions are next week i believe and im hoping that i'll get the part of polly! Wish me luck

My sweet scents ;D

Everybody always compliments me on my scent, so i'd thought i would share what sort of perfumes i wear!

I have quite a few perfumes, My personall favourite is Britney spears, midnight! I dont really like brittney vey much but i do like this perfume..My nan bought it for me as a present and since then i spritz it on daily

The bottle is quite unique too! Its a fruity, sweet scent and can be quite overpowering but i do get complimented a lot on it =)



The next one i regulary use is a perfume named Ricci ricci by nina ricci! It isnt a popular perfume but it also has a strong scent, my mum compares to a perfume called poison! Im running out of this perfume though! Boohoo! Though my reason to buy this perfume was because i thought the bottle was pretty, and was the first bottle of perfume that i bought with my own hard earned cash ;)

I also have Davidoff, cool water! Though i dont use it much but its too popular nowadays and everyone i know wears or owns it! Its quite a softer scent to my other perfumes

Today, i decided to treat myself to yet another perfume! I guess that is what inspired me to write a blog about what perfumes i wear! Ive had my eye on it for a while and it went down in price so i had to buy it =P Its Pacco rabanne, One in a million! I havent worn it yet, but i had a quick smell before buying and it got my approval!

And the bottle is shaped so beautifully, how can i not resist! Im always on the look out for new perfumes to try out, so any recommendations, let me know! =)

Just another below average day

I realise i havent blogged in a while, Been quite lazy but also quite busy too! Since my last blog, lots of things has happened, Christmas, New years etc etc!
Christmas was a tad sucky, My uncle passed away on christmas day..so as you can imagine it wasnt one of my best christmas's ever! And he's to be buried at the weekend, so please do excuse me, if im all depressed and things!

I got some awesome presents though, Funky robin bedsocks and pyjamas, perfume, lots of clothes and other bits and bobs! New years was okay too, I stayed sober though! SHAMEFUL! I've made up for it since though! Twas nice to see some friendly faces over christmas, but they've all ran back to uni again now! Horrible people!

Also, im still pretty busy rehearsing for my show, which is just under a month away and i am absolutley petrified about it and i hope no one i know comes along to watch me, Though the work lot have said they want to come, well you cant! I'm struggling to learn my lines, so if anyone wants to help me, then please do! i need all the help i can get! For those who dont know, im playing the part of coral, the sea spirit, she is the good magical fairy character who saves everyone *spoilers* - shall say no more!
