Attempts at being creative.

Ah. Blogging world. We meet again. I have some free time which probably should be spend a little more wisely or maybe I should be out enjoying the sunshine. Alas, I have pale skin, I mean like whiter than white. Even with factor 60 on I still burn bright red like a lobster. WIN!....¬¬

Today, is Sunday, which for me means a DAY OFF! Everybody loves a day off. Thus far, It hasn't been as productive as I have wished for. It's mostly been spent catching up on Big Brother. (I know, Lame right?) Constantly checking E-mails. AND AND, I have been creating a wee little tag thing (If that's what they are called nowadays?) It's not brilliant but I like it. I downloaded a new font for it because I'm all hip and cool and things. At first thought, I made it just out of sheer boredom but it looks rather good to waste.

It's quite fitting me thinks, seeing as my surname is Storman.

 What do you folks think? I like it's simplicity. It's times like these I wish I could create my own brand of something. I could see this looking good on a T-shirt. Might just make myself one. =)

Baileys, What a drink.

Baileys, Baileys, Baileys. You smooth, gorgeous melt on the tongue, ever so creamy drink. I could drink Baileys by the bottle, Actually, I most probably have done. I've been drinking Baileys for well over 2 years now but as of late, I've stopped drinking it due to the fact that I've drank so much that it's losing its 'wow factor', but don't despair, I'm likely to return back into my Baileys drinking ways as currently I've been drinking a lot of Malibu and cokes, and all the people who know me well enough, will know my bladder can't withstand too much fizzy drinks. aha!

I've also been looking into recipes that include Baileys in it. For example, I found this......

Baileys Baked Cheesecake. Doesn't it look so scrummy?

I've also found some new alternative ways of drinking baileys. I usually stick to the classic 'Baileys on the rocks' or even better Baileys with hot chocolate! Noms!

Baileys White Russian. Next time I'm out I'm ordering this.  It's so simple to make, Baileys, Vodka and Kahula.

So many many many nom's! But remember guys, too always drink responsibly ;o)

Beard envy

As most of you are aware, I have a small obsession (But don't we all) It's no secret, I LOVE BEARDS. The hairier and scruffier the better. There's no better feeling than playing with a beard. Don't get me wrong, I like being a girl, we have our advantages. I'm sure most men would love to own certain things that we ladies own. Ha, For all the dudes reading this, yeah you. Don't even deny it! BOOBS. Yes, I said it. Aren't they great! But my weakness lies with a good old bit of facial scruff. Ah, They are heavenly. Okay, Okay, I may have said that i had a 'small obsession' that could have been a slight understatement.

Now for a short interlude. And time to really appreciate the wonderfulness that is all things BEARD! 

This handsome devil goes by the name of Simon Neil, Lead singer of Biffy Clyro. And why yes, He can grow a nice bit of scruff. 

Next up, Is Tom Hardy rocking the slicked back hair, suit up 'like a sir' look. Well I approve.

Forget Rapunzel, Its all about Bropunzel.

Such a shame, I'd make a great looking dude ;} All I needed was that XY chromosome.

Its obvious, I suffer from beard envy. I'm not the envious type at all but gah, if I was a dude. I'd never shave. Possibly trim but never shave. What I find strange, (Or perhaps, I'm the strange one) Is that majority of women do not share these views. I see their point, some beards can be a it too scraggly and wild, and when it comes down too intimacy, girls just want it gone. They don't know what they are missing.

Another interlude.

To conclude, embrace the inner hobo and wear your scruff with pride, if anyone says to shave it, Kick 'em up the butthole.

My song of the week.

Well hello wonderful, non existent readers. Have you missed me? I seem too always disappear from the blogging world. But I am back..Well for now I am.

I'm going to keep this blog short and sweet, i wont divulge into any boring stories of what i've been up to as of late. Oh what, Do i hear you all scream out, 'Kylie, Please tell us' Oh well, if you do insist. ;} I cant say that i've been up to anything great. Though, i did go visit London for a few days and well, lets just say that was a very interesting trip. I shall say no more =p I have been vowed to silence. One thing i can say is that it was a lot of fun and gained some new experiences that wont be forgotten any time soon. Haha!

Now back to the main purpose of this blog. As the title says 'My song of the week' and well, it is now time deliver my verdict. This week i am finding it really hard to pin down just one song. I have however managed to cut it down to one band. The band being Alt-J. For those who are not aware of this bands existence, i shall give you a short brief description of them. Alt-J have been around since 2007, they are an English indie band. The band consists of four members, They hit stardom with their debut album, The awesome wave. For me, this band is different from others. The vocalist, Joe Newman has a very unusual tone and sound to his voice, which makes him stand out. Therefore, he's pretty cool. This is definitely one band i have to see live one day.

First blog of the year

So hello again to all my loyal and imaginary readers. (Highly doubt this will get read by anyone.)

Okay, so I haven't blogged in like forever. I know, I'm terrible and to be be truthful, i just haven't been bothered too. This past year, has had its up and downs, mostly downs. I was hoping 2013 would be a great year, well it started of that way but slowly deteriorated as the days went by. But i wont dwell. Things happen in life and there's nothing anyone can do to change it.

Moving swiftly on from there, I was back in London a few weeks ago and my god, i had a lot fun. Was good seeing everyone again especially since i hadn't been back there for about 2 years. I know, madness. But this year, I'm making sure that i will make the effort to go back regularly  I should be there again in March and I cant wait. It will also be my birthday, so lots of celebrations and booze will be had. I'm turning 22 this year. Whoa, where have the years gone. Its kinda scary, I'm getting old, too quickly and i don't like it. Least i look about 12, so its all good.

I thought i'd do something a little different to my blog by doing a song of the week. This week, I've mostly been listening to the likes of The cure, Bloc party and Joy Division. Band of horses AKA Horses, are an american rock band who formed in 2004. I believe they have released 4 albums and are doing quite well. Good on them. They also have big bushy beards which make them awesome.
